Child Find Identification

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

The Watonga Public School System is conducting a campaign to identify all handicapped children in this school district who are not presently being served.

Public Laws and Oklahoma statutes mandate that all handicapped children ages birth to twenty-one are entitled to a free and appropriate education, to be provided by the local school district.

If you know of any handicapped child who is not being served presently, please refer him or her to this school for proper evaluation. All information will be handled in a confidential manner.

This child identification campaign is ongoing. Referrals may be made anytime during the school year.
